What We Do

Preschool

Providing your child with a hands-on learning environment.

Our preschool curriculum is based on providing a hands-on learning environment for your child, with a structured and stimulating preschool experience. We offer them a weekly theme-based curriculum, which focuses on enhancing their understanding of different topics.

By offering your child a structured and exciting environment, they will be kept busy and will be inspired to discover new and exciting things.

Our curriculum also offers our students countless opportunities to explore the environment around them, encouraging their independence and encouraging them to become more confident in themselves and their choices.

Each different weekly theme has activities that enhance your child's small and large gross motor skills, as well as covering: arts and crafts, language, story, writing, music, science, and math. Our varied curriculum motivates children to communicate and be social with others by participating in group activities, co-operating, sharing, listening, and following directions.

Our preschool curriculum provides your child with the skills they need to be ready for kindergarten and life experiences.

Kinder

Making each minute of your school-age child’s time count.

We run Before School sessions from 5:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. freeing parents up to get to work or take care of other responsibilities, knowing that your child is safely taken care of and will reach school safely and on time.

They can choose from a variety of activities before it is time to prepare for departure to school, and then we make sure they have everything they need for school

After School sessions run from 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm. We ensure that one of our staff members is at school in time for pick up, bringing them back to our center for a variety of activities. During our After School sessions, we provide children with homework support, as well as the opportunity to do arts and crafts, computer-based activities, board games, and outdoor play.

Full Day Program:

Extra activities are provided for school-age children when schools are closed for vacations such as holidays, snow days, and summer vacations.

Special spaces are reserved for school-age children, provided that the parents have signed them up for the public school vacations and holidays beforehand.

1st Grade

Helping your child prepare for the world beyond.

Starting First Grade is a milestone in your child’s life. At this period in their life, B L Harvey Preschool and Academy will provide them with the resources they need to have an unforgettable, fun-filled, and enriching learning experience. We offer numerous activities that stimulate their academic, social, emotional, and mental growth. Our amazing team supports our students every step of the way, helping them develop the needed skills to become well-rounded individuals.

Day Care

Keeping your children engaged.

Our day care center is fun-filled with after-school and daily activities for children between the ages of 4 months and 5 years old.

We encourage our students to interact with one another, developing their social skills and growing in confidence. We are committed to helping young children be ready for school and life, so you can rest assured that your little ones will be able to make the most out of their experience here.
